What's new!

Well, after the crazy busy days leading up to and including

Mother's Day, we are finally taking a breath!

Time to show you a few new things in the shop...

We just got our new shipment from Lavishy...wonderful

products made from recycled non-toxic plastic include

these purses, wallets, e-reader covers and change purses...

We've brought in this pretty vintage bird and flower line as well...

We've also just started carrying lovely large notebooks by the same company.
Perfect to take along with you to the beach for all those ideas
that brew while you're looking out at the sea!...

...tea on the deck early in the morning? These mugs will do the trick nicely!...

...and they come in a beautiful box, just in case you want to give one for a gift...

Since we're all itching to get out in the garden, we've brought in some

With spring in full swing everyone is in a green mood, including A Sea of Bloom.

This week we just got in boxes and boxes of gorgeous plants to fill up your home...

Orchids, cacti, succulents, ferns, flowering begonias...Oh! it's all so lovely!!

 In some places it looks like the Southwest...

In other spots it's like a luscious jungle...

Look at these miniature orchids in little clay pots...so cute!!

...keeping company with a few of the bigger ones...

 Have you ever heard of Tillandsia?

You might know them from their common name of air plants.

These are a type of species of epiphytes.

They are plants that generally don't need soil.

They are not parasitic and only rely on their hosts for support so you can basically

put them ANYWHERE there is warmth and bright light!

They absorb nutrients in the air and water through their leaves.

We've been playing with them and making all kinds of pretty and fun things with them...

 Perfect in these hanging glass terrariums...

 All you need to do is mist them once or twice a week...

There's so many different kinds that you just HAVE to come in and have a look!

Some of them are just beginning to flower too.

If you need something funky AND useful we've made these beautiful

arrangements in a large mug (comes in a pretty gift box too).

Maybe someone in your workplace deserves one!

Again, lot's of designs to choose from...

How about something for the 'lady' of the house? heh, heh, heh...

A perfect little hostess gift indeed!
