Saturday, September 8th was the first wedding we've done at
the new Prestige Hotel in Sooke, B.C.
The combinations were a gorgeous mix of 'Moon series'
eggplant purple carnations, creamy white gerbera daisies ,
chartreuse tinged white roses, tall purple delphiniums
sword ferns and white alstromeria.
The main arrangements were quite striking
in lovely stoneware vases...
They were approximately 3 feet tall.
Next it was on to the bridal bouquet...
The dark eyed gerbera daisies really popped and pulled in the colour of
the purple carnations.
As a nice touch, hand-tied white and dark purple satin ribbon was used...
Attention to detail with pretty, purple head pins...
These will match the same pins and purple carnations for the men's boutonnieres...
The brides maids carried simple but elegant hand tied roses...
...they also wore pearl wristlets adorned with the theme colours, spray roses and wax flower...
The shop is always a buzz when the energy of a wedding approaches!
Excitement and creativity...a fantastic combination!
